The American Institute in Taiwan (herein as “AIT”) is hereby soliciting for one (1) UV printer and welcomes vendors to submit a quotation for competition. Interested bidders are required to have a presence in Taiwan to be able to provide prompt maintenance and support for this product when required. If a firm is interested in bidding on this solicitation, please contact AIT Procurement via email at Taipei_Procurement@state.gov during official business hours Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Taipei time). Clarification to all questions submitted by August 28, 2020 (Taipei time) will be provided by e-mail before close of business on September 1, 2020 (Taipei time). The tax-exempt quotation submission deadline is September 8, 2020 at 12:00 noon (Taipei time). Payment will be made by EFT within 30 days after the order is fully received and accepted by AIT. - Other Requirements
- Bidders are required to provide installation of the UV printer at AIT’s American Innovation Center. Address: 2nd Floor, No. 133, Guangfu S. Rd., Xinyi District, Taipei City (Songshan Cultural and Creative Park)
- Bidders are to provide quotations that list all of the required accessories of proposed UV printer model such as, but not limited to, the following:
- External UPS component
- Anti-static system
- Table
- Bidders are to provide quotation that includes at minimum, a one-year warranty, including maintenance services and all parts.
- Bidders are to provide a cost for an optional annual maintenance after the initial one-year warranty expires for price evaluation.
- Quotation must include at minimum four (4) trainings (i.e., one training per quarter) free of charge directly from the manufacturer / certified distributor for end-users or the public.
- Quotation must include immediate maintenance and support should any problems arise with the UV printer during the one-year warranty period.
- Quotations must include installation and shipping fees, if any, to the following addresses, respectively. Please provide two quotations for the shipping options below if you are a vendor located in the United States.
