U.S. Citizen Services at the American Institute in Taiwan is open Monday through Friday between 08:15 am and 5:00 pm, excluding U.S. and Taiwan public holidays.

In case of a genuine emergency involving a U.S. citizen currently in Taiwan, please call (02) 2162-2000.
If calling from the United States, please call 1-888-407-4747. Please note that this number is NOT for visa inquiries.

Any other U.S. Citizen Services questions, please send an email to TaipeiACS@state.gov

U. S. Citizen Services at the American Institute in Taiwan is NOT able to answer questions on green cards, immigrant visas, and non-immigrant visas.
