The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) program in Taiwan aims to promote English language instruction in Taiwan and to provide cultural exchange opportunities for U.S., ETAs, and the people in Taiwan. Fulbright ETA grantees in Taiwan serve as teaching assistants in one or more elementary schools or middle schools, assisting local English teachers.
