Regional TechCamp

The TechCamp program, run by the U.S. Department of State, centers around interactive, hands-on workshops that leverage private sector technology experts to build technical capacity among key influencers. The Last Regional TechCamp in Taipei: Media Literacy & Countering Disinformation was on August 27-29, 2019.

International Education Week (IEW) is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of the efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences.

Youth Camp

Youth Camp (Archive)

The American Institute in Taiwan’s Youth Camp program brings together young Asian leaders to learn about leadership development and community empowerment. Camp activities include interactive panels led by experts from U.S. government-sponsored exchange programs, cultural exploration events, and community outreach activities. Taiwan undergraduate university students from all disciplines are eligible and encouraged to apply.

AIT’s “Your Next Step” program promotes U.S. higher education by exposing Taiwan youth to information about their fields of interest to help them achieve their goals of getting U.S. degrees and boosting their ability to be competitive in the job market.  This program addresses the employment concerns of the youth through the advantage of having study abroad experience.
