Representative Robert Wittman, Chairman of the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee of the House Armed Services Committee (HASC), will lead a bipartisan delegation to Taiwan from August 25-26, 2017, as part of a larger visit throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The delegation also includes Representative Madeleine Bordallo, Ranking Member of the Readiness Subcommittee in the HASC. While in Taiwan, Chairman Wittman and Congresswoman Bordallo will meet with Taiwan authorities to discuss U.S.-Taiwan relations, regional security, and other significant issues of mutual interest.
