Four of the participating artists – Silvia Kolbowski, Michael Portnoy, Claude Wampler and Allan Sekula – are from the United States. “AIT is pleased to sponsor the Taipei Biennial 2010. The Biennial attracts some of the world’s leading contemporary artists, and I am pleased to see a number of American artists featured in this year’s event. I look forward to viewing the exhibition myself, and on behalf of AIT send the Taipei Fine Arts Museum and all of the exhibition’s organizers and sponsors our best wishes for a successful exhibition,” remarked AIT Cultural Affairs Officer and Director of the AIT American Cultural Center Scott Robinson.
