Strengthening U.S.-Taiwan Trade Ties a Focus of U.S. Department of Commerce Visit December 3-4

U.S. Department of Commerce Deputy Assistant Secretary for Manufacturing and currently performing the non-exclusive functions and duties as Assistant Secretary for Global Markets and Director General of the Commercial Service Ian Steff will visit Taiwan, December 3-4 to strengthen U.S.-Taiwan trade ties, advocate for U.S. business, and advance the economic pillar of the Indo-Pacific Strategy.  This trip will also provide an opportunity for advocacy on key market access issues, as well as promote Taiwan investment in the United States.  During this visit, Mr. Steff will also meet with private sector representatives to discuss trade and investment, including the SelectUSA Summit.
