The American Institute in Taiwan (herein as “AIT”) is hereby soliciting for a Haivision media platform solution and welcomes qualified vendors to submit a quotation for competition. Vendor eligibility requirements are outlined below. If a firm is interested in bidding on this solicitation, please contact AIT Procurement via e-mail at Taipei_Procurement@state.gov during official business hours Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Taipei time). Clarification to all questions submitted by July 12, 2021 at 12 noon (Taipei time) will be provided by e-mail by close of business (Taipei time) on July 16, 2021. The tax-exempt quotation and required vendor eligibility documentation submissions deadline is July 23, 2021 at 12 noon (Taipei time). Payment will be made by EFT within thirty (30) days after the order is fully received and accepted by AIT. Thank you for your interest.

Vendor Eligibility Requirements
Interested bidders are required to provide evidence of the following eligibility requirements at the time of quotation submission. This request for quotation will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable bid submitted by responsible quoter(s). This is also known as the “lowest price, technically acceptable” offer. Please note that the award may be made without discussion. AIT reserves the right to reject quotations that are unreasonably low or high in price. AIT will determine acceptability by assessing the offeror’s compliance with the terms of this solicitation. AIT will determine responsibility by analyzing whether the apparent successful quoter complies with the requirements below:
- GSA or SEWP certified vendor
- Letter of Authorization from Haivision
- TAA compliance
- No refurbished products
- Product shipment must originate from the United States
