AIT is delighted to announce the finalist in the Art in AIT Call for Artwork: Huang Yen-jyhn for his piece Conversion-01. Huang’s piece was selected from among over 50 original works submitted by young Taiwan artists. Huang is a senior student studying Fine Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts. This multi-media piece uses cement paint, acrylic paint, and newspaper to evoke the thinking process of our brains, and addresses the notion of translation in multiple languages. Huang’s artwork was installed at Director Moy’s residence today as part of the Art in AIT opening. AIT was amazed at the inspiring and creative works that were submitted.
