From AIT Director Moy: Yesterday, I enjoyed joining the opening of the “America’s Literary Landscape” exhibit at the Eslite Spectrum Songyan Store. The exhibition is outstanding and reconnected me with many American authors like Emily Dickinson, Jack London, and Ernest Hemingway who deepened my appreciation of the outdoors when I was young. It was exciting to learn that these authors had a great impact on writers in Taiwan like Yu Kwang-chung, Liu Ka-shiang, and Chung Yung-feng and are still appreciated today. The exhibit has several unexpectedly modern touches and will be open until April 22, 2018. Don’t miss it…km
