Based on the Notice of Funding Opportunities, all civil society groups, media content providers, NGOs, private companies, or academic institutions are able to be funded.
The U.S. Department of State Global Engagement Center (GEC) is accepting applications between now and April 29, 2019 for any organizations, and companies that are interested in helping to recognize, understand, expose, and counter propaganda and disinformation. GEC will determine and award project funding to applicants following a two-stage competitive process.
