The American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch Office is pleased to present a virtual tour of “The American Dream: Stories of Taiwan Residents who Studied in the United States” on the web-based Virtual AIT World.

Learn the history and flow of Taiwan students who have gone to the United States to study and what this has meant for Taiwan’s development by taking the virtual tour of the “American Dream” exhibit. The tour provides viewers a chance to gain a deeper understanding of the significant contributions and immense impact on Taiwan’s development made by Taiwan students who gained knowledge and skills in the United States. Conceived and coordinated by AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office and the Sun Yat-sen America Center, the “American Dream” exhibit opened at the Kaohsiung History Museum on March 15, 2012, and will run until September 16, 2012.

In addition to the “American Dream” exhibit, the Virtual AIT World also includes tours of three of AIT’s most popular exhibits — the “American Footsteps in Taiwan,” “Dr. Sun Yat-sen and the United States,” and “Picturing America” as well as a tour of the former AIT Director’s Art in Embassy installation and a tour of how to apply for a visa. More exhibits and features will be added in the future. To explore the Virtual AIT World, please visit http://virtual.ait.org.tw
