Wisconsin Ginseng is highly regarded by Taiwanese consumers as a premium herb and is highly sought after in many Asian markets as aficionados also consume it for increased vitality, reduction of excess bodily heat, and stress relief. The high quality is due to the excellent growing conditions for ginseng in Wisconsin. The ideal climate and mineral-rich soil produces the best type of cultivated American ginseng.
The WGB is pleased to partner with the JGT, which is a 40-year-old company specializing in high-quality herbs for use in Traditional Chinese medicine and has an island-wide distribution network.
“We are confident that our company can once again make the premium Wisconsin-grown Ginseng one of the strongest ginseng brands in Taiwan,” said Chen Chun-Yuan, President of JGT. “Taiwan customers will benefit from this partnership knowing that if they purchase Wisconsin Ginseng from JGT, that they are buying the genuine, high quality, and pure ginseng,” said Butch Weege, executive director of the Ginseng Board of Wisconsin, Inc.
JGT will use the official Wisconsin Ginseng Seal®, a trademark that indicates the product has been verified to be pure Wisconsin Ginseng. The seal is recognized globally as the mark of a premium product. The Ginseng Board of Wisconsin owns the seal and enables select distributors to use it.
