The American Institute in Taiwan’s (AIT) Kaohsiung Branch Office, in conjunction with National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU), is pleased to announce that the 2015 English Speech Contest for Taiwan high school and university students will take place on Friday, November 6 at NSYSU’s English Language Center.
This will be the third year that AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office co-organizes the island-wide English speech contest with National Sun Yat-sen University. After the initial screening, 45 finalists, selected from 170 submissions, will compete for three top awards in both the high school and university categories. This year’s theme is “The United States as viewed from Taiwan.”
All media representatives are welcome to cover the speech contest. AIT Public Diplomacy Section Chief Joseph Bookbinder and AIT Kaohsiung Branch Public Affairs Officer John Slover will serve as judges for the event.
