AIT Director Moy: People say “good things come to those who wait.” We’ve waited a long time to officially announce that we are dedicating AIT’s New Office Complex on June 12, so that should tell you how special it is. Our new office in Neihu is modern, environmentally friendly, and the first purpose-built facility by a foreign representative office in Taiwan. But it is more than just a building. It is a tangible symbol of U.S. – Taiwan friendship. And we cannot wait to share it with our friends! I have more good news – not only is our new building almost complete, AIT will celebrate our forty-year anniversary in 2019! In honor of these two momentous occasions, we are collaborating with the National 228 Museum on an exhibition titled, “Strong Foundation, Bright Future: AIT@40, U.S.-Taiwan Relations Since 1979.” It opens in Taipei on May 31st and will tour around Taiwan in 2019. I hope you all have a chance to see it and celebrate the U.S.-Taiwan friendship with us…Don’t forget, we aren’t moving to Neihu just yet. Keep following us on Facebook and check our website for the latest news about our move…km
