AIT Director Brent Christensen will participate in ceremonial tip-off of P. LEAGUE+ match

AIT is proud to announce that on Saturday, February 27, Director Brent Christensen will participate in the ceremonial tip-off of the P. LEAGUE+ match between the Hsinchu Lioneers and Taoyuan Pilots at the Hsinchu County Stadium.  His participation is part of a broader series of activities celebrating sports diplomacy and the ways it has strengthened the people-to-people ties that bind the United States and Taiwan.  Other activities will include:

  • Wille: The Department of State is offering free streaming access to the acclaimed documentary Willie, about the first Black player in the National Hockey League. Sign up before Saturday, February 27 at 4pm. https://bit.ly/2NLZ6d3).
  • Gender Equality in Sports Workshop: On March 5 from 2pm-4pm, AIT will participate in a workshop on Gender Equality in Sports organized by AIT program alumni Liu Po-Chun and Tzeng Yu-Hsien.  AIT PAO Diane Sovereign will give opening remarks.
