AIT Consular Team Visits Taitung October 1 & 3 to Provide Consular Services for U.S. Citizens

Are you a U.S. citizen who needs to renew your U.S. passport, obtain a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for a newborn, or have a document notarized?  The Consular Team from the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Kaohsiung Branch Office will visit Taitung City on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 and Thursday October 3, 2019 to provide these consular services and answer related questions. 

On October 1, services will be offered from 3:20 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Dulan Tribe Activity Center, located at 372 Donghe Township, Dulan Village, Taitung County.

On October 3, services will be offered from 10:40 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. at the National Immigration Agency Taitung Service Station, located at 95 Chang-Sha Street, Taitung City.

Please note that since November 1, 2016, eyeglasses or cosmetic contact lenses that make the iris appear larger or smaller are not acceptable in passport photos.  Please bring both the original and a clear photocopy of your U.S. passport or other photo ID.

We are only able to accept local bank drafts (cashier’s checks 美金匯票) payable to the “American Institute in Taiwan.”  We cannot accept cash, personal checks or credit cards.
