The AIT Kaohsiung Branch Office, in conjunction with the National Pingtung Institute of Commerce (NPIC), is pleased to announce the 5th Annual Taiwan-U.S. Commercial Forum scheduled to take place on Friday, May 24 at 1:00 p.m. at the 85 Sky Tower Hotel in Kaohsiung City.
The Forum will address development in the U.S.-Taiwan commercial relationship and prospects for jumpstarting future economic cooperation. AIT Deputy Director Brent Christensen will present remarks on economic developments relating to the U.S. and Taiwan. This year’s event will broaden the programming agenda to include leading edge private sector participation and esteemed academics from both Taiwan and the USA. For example, Mr. JT Hsu from the internationally acclaimed Boston Consulting Group will make a keynote presentation during the forum. Georgetown Professor Michael Czinkota will also present remarks. Several additional AIT and Taiwan officials, as well as several international non-profit organizations will also be represented and speak at the event. NPIC Professor Jack Jan will again chair the event.
