AIT Celebrates 2021 International Education Week
November 15-19, 2021
The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) will celebrate International Education Week (IEW) from November 15-19, 2021. IEW is a U.S. Department of State initiative that promotes the benefits of international education and exchange programs worldwide. During IEW, AIT will host and participate in several educational events and provide information via social media platforms.
Taiwan consistently ranks as one of the top senders of international students to the United States. Through EducationUSA, AIT helps prospective Taiwan students by providing current and comprehensive information on studying in the United States. All EducationUSA services are offered at no cost to Taiwan students. EducationUSA Advising Centers are located at AIT and our partner, the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange.
2021 AIT International Education Week Events
- International Education Advising and Outreach: AIT officers and EducationUSA advisers will hold seminars throughout Taiwan and online to discuss international education with students, parents, and teachers.
- StudywithUS Workshop: University and high school advisers will attend a workshop at AIT to learn about international student mobility trends and visa requirements.
- “My Life is Fun in the U.S.” Student Profile Series: This six-video series features Taiwan undergrad and graduate students living and studying in the United States.
- AIT Facebook Education Campaign: The annual Open Doors report will be released, highlighting international student mobility trends.
