The Ministry of National Defense in Taiwan has announced that an air defense exercise, Wan An No. 44, will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. The exercise is scheduled for 30 minutes and will take place across Taiwan. No personnel evacuation or traffic control measures will be implemented in order to reduce the risks of Covid-19 spreading.
During the 30 minute air defense exercise, the emergency notification system will be tested. It will also be sounded to signal the start and end of the event.
